You might have been seeing ads for the Old Roos Club NFT Project based on Solana Network, It did quickly sold out but what followed may just go down in the history books of scams.

Approximately 45 minutes after it sold out B00mer announced the death of founder they made no mention of their handle or name just the fact that the mysterious founder died during the mint. Given the history of NFT project scams this might just be one of the most notorious and meme worth scam of the year.
